The X Factor 2012: Leona Lewis Is Guest Judge

Leona Lewis will keep spare judges seat warm for this weekend’s live X Factor auditions..

"there, there Geri - I'm sure they will have you back..."

It has just been confirmed on the official X Factor twitter page that previous winner Leona Lewis will be stepping in as a guest judge this weekend.

Leona will replace Geri Halliwell who occupied the fourth judges seat when auditions kicked off earlier this week in Liverpool.

Geri was photographed on top of her car screaming into a megaphone as she arrived on the red carpet but I will be expecting a much more low key entrance from Leona.

She will be sitting alongside Louis Walsh, Tulisa and Gary Barlow who have all been signed up full time for this year’s show. The fourth seat was left vacant after Dannii Minogue pulled out of a return to the show at the eleventh hour.

Other names in the frame for a guest judging role include Mel B and Rita Ora.
