K-Pop legend Psy is bringing Gangnam Style to the UK…

The chances are that you may already be familiar with Korean rapper/singer Psy and his global breakout hit Gangnam Style but if not, think crazy K-Pop meets LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem and you will soon get the idea.

The worldwide YouTube smash has been watched over 200 million times, with views currently increasing at a rate of 10 million per day.

Psy, real name Park Jae-Sang, has been successful in Korea for over a decade but in 2012 he is discovering a whole new level of fame.

He now has a management deal with Scooter Braun (current pop guardian of Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen) and can count Tom Cruise, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Robbie Williams among his fans.

Gangnam Style is already climbing the iTunes UK chart, currently sitting just outside the top ten.

Add that to his success in other countries and it looks like Psy has become the first K-Pop artist to reach the global mass market.

Who knows where that will lead for him but one thing is for certain, the ‘pretend you are riding a horse’ Gangnam Style dance is sure to be a staple of every party and night out between now and the new year!
