Coldplay team up with Rihanna in Princess Of China video…

Coldplay and Rihanna have teamed up for the fourth single from the band’s Mylo Xyloto album.

The ‘Princess Of China’ video sees Chris Martin fighting ninjas and Rihanna dressed in what she has previously described as “gangsta goth geisha“.

We also get to see the Coldplay frontman taking on RiRi in some mid-air Crouching Tiger style action. I’m not sure I would want to go anywhere near Rihanna in this video until she had undergone some sort of heavy duty manicure.

Chris Martin has previously described ‘Princess Of China’ as the highlight of recording their fifth studio album. It was confirmed as a single following a performance of the track at the Grammys.

Coldplay are currently on a stadium tour of the UK during which Rihanna appears on giant video screens for the performance of ‘Princess Of China’.

The band have commented that flashing LED wristbands handed out to the crowd are bankrupting the tour. They were first seen during their performance at Wembley for The X Factor final.

‘Princess Of China’ is taken from the album Mylo Xyloto which is out now.
