Misha B Releases Debut Single Home Run
X Factor finalist Misha B releases debut single Home Run…
Misha B reached the semi finals of the 2011 series of The X Factor, scoring votes with her epic performances which included an amazing cover of Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’.
Six months later she is releasing her debut single ‘Home Run’.
The full version has now had it’s radio premiere after a clip of the track previously featured on Misha’s Why Hello World mixtape.
‘Home Run’ starts slow and you think an all out soul power ballad is on the way but the track switches gear before too long turning into a dance track which rather than being epic and timeless sadly only amounts to something on par with a Cher Lloyd or Mis-teeq highpoint.
Listen to Misha B Debut single Home Run:
Speaking of the song, Misha says “Home Run is about that special someone who gets you so excited, so hyped that you lose control! When I perform it, I feel that same energy on stage – it makes you wanna dance!’
‘It is based on a ballad I wrote about my ex and I just changed it up to give it a fresh, fun vibe.”
Misha B’s time on The X Factor was embroiled in controversy after Tulisa accused her of bullying other contestants backstage during one of the live shows.
Misha eventually finished fourth in the competition behind Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins and eventual winners Little Mix.
Misha B’s debut single Home Run is out on 15th July.
