Listen: Leona Lewis Trouble (feat. Childish Gambino)

After a failed attempt at reinventing herself as a dance music diva last year, Leona Lewis is back with brand new single ‘Trouble’.

The track sees a return to the modern power ballad style which worked so well for Leona back at the beginning of her post-X Factor career on hits such as ‘Bleeding Love‘ and ‘Happy‘.

The stomping beats and piano build towards an anthemic chorus written by current people’s favourite Emeli Sande.

I’m not too sure about the hip hop diversion three-quarters of the way through from rising US rapper Childish Gambino (aka Troy from US comedy Community) though.
