Movies: Katy Perry ‘Part Of Me’ Movie Trailer

Katy Perry: Part Of Me is coming to a cinema near you next month.

The part biopic, part concert movie focuses on Katy’s time on the road for her California Dreams world tour.

As well as including performances of all of the hits from the Teenage Dream album, Part Of Me will delve into Katy’s personal life capturing the fall out from her split and subsequent divorce from Russell Brand.

Katy told MTV news “you’re going to see it from my best friend/buddy perspective, you’re going to see exactly what I mean and feel and think about everything.”

Also appearing in Katy Perry: Part Of Me will be the singer’s close friend Rihanna and Swedish pop sensation Robyn who supported Katy on most of her California Dreams world tour dates.

In between the concert performances recorded at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, the film will look at Katy Perry’s rise from gospel singer Katy Hudson to the international pop superstar she is today.

Katy Perry has also said the release of Part Of Me will be the closing chapter on the Teenage Dream era. The album of the same name has spawned seven hit singles including ‘California Gurls’, ‘Firework’ and ‘The One That Got Away’. The eight and final single ‘Wide Awake’ has just been released in support of Katy Perry: Part Of Me.
