Ellie Goulding: Anything Could Happen video

Ellie Goulding has released the video for her new single Anything Could Happen.

It is the first song to be taken from her forthcoming album Halcyon.

I’ll warn you now, this is no Alphabeat video. Ellie is seen laying on the beach but she is not on some sort of debauched 18-30 club jolly. She has in fact been in a car accident and lost her lover. Sob.

Ellie Goulding has recently said her new album will  have more of a pop sound than her debut Lights.

If you would like to know what she means by that, Halcyon is released on October 8.
