‘Mr Saxobeat’ singer Alexandra Stan returns with new single Lemonade…

Alexandra Stan dominated the charts and our radios for most of last summer with her international smash hit single ‘Mr Saxobeat’.

Although the follow up ‘Get Back (ASAP)‘ seemed to go somewhat unnoticed in the UK, the Romanian who turns 23 tomorrow will be hoping to repeat the success of ‘Saxobeat’ with new single ‘Lemonade’.

Alexandra’s vocal is thick with her accent on the track which has a classic europop reggae inspired sound, most pleasing to the ear while sunning oneself on a sandy Mediterranean beach. With that in mind this really is one for the holiday crowd and may have to wait until the back end of the summer to achieve chart success.

In the video Alexandra Stan is seen squeezing lemons in quite a flamboyant and fairly sexual manner before heading out on the streets with her lemonade to entice her neighbours to a bit of a shin dig.

Lemonade was produced by the team at Maan Studios in Romania who have been largely responsible for several chart invasions over the last few years.
